An Enchanting 15 Days Traveling Through Rwanda & Kenya – 2022 

RWANDA

You’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative outside the immigration hall, who will assist and guide you through immigration procedures prior to handing you over to your guide. Your guide will transfer you to The Retreat by Heaven for your dinner and overnight stay.’

On day 3, our day will start with breakfast at the hotel prior to our drive to the Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival at the park, lunch will be served and the afternoon will offer time for you to rest and relax at the resort. Alternatively, we will be offering the option to visit the Diane Fossey Fund Ellen DeGeneres campus. In the evening, you will enjoy a relaxed evening with cultural performances at the Resort.

After enjoying an early breakfast, you will be transported to the starting point of your second guided walk that’ll kick-off at 8:00 am. After this magical experience, you will return to the hotel for lunch prior to driving back to Kigali.

After enjoying your breakfast and checking out of the hotel, the day will be kicked off with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial. The memorial serves as a center of learning on Rwandan history and the history of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

Next stop? GISENYI!
The tour will continue outside Kigali where we’ll be traveling to Gisenyi, located in the Western Province of Rwanda. On the drive to Gisenyi, we will visit a local market and arrive in time for lunch at Nyirangarama. Upon your arrival in Gisenyi, you will enjoy a private sunset boat ride on Lake Kivu with complimentary drinks.

The day will begin with an early breakfast at 6:30 am, prior to the gorilla trek briefing at 7:00 am. After the briefing, you will be transported to the starting point of your guided walk, kicking off at 8:00 am.

After a most memorable experience encountering these creatures, you will return to the lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing.

The day will be kicked off with breakfast at the hotel and with time permitting, the tour may visit Azizi life where you can learn and participate in the art of basket weaving before your flight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by our representative outside the customs and immigration hall, who will transport you to your home for the night at the Nairobi HemmingWays

Dinner and overnight stay

KENYA

Your day will begin with a delicious breakfast before our 8:00 am departure for a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum, Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage & the Giraffe Centre. You’ll enjoy a lovely lunch set in the Karen Blixen coffee garden, prior to your departure for the Amboseli National Park at 14:00.

The day will be kicked off bright and early with breakfast at 6:30 am. After your breakfast, you’ll enjoy a scenic drive and picnic lunch on your way to Nairobi for your flight at the Wilson Airport. Your flight will depart for the Maasai mara National Reserve at 14:45 and arrive at 15:40 where you will be met by our driver guide. Your first activity at the reserve will be an evening game drive in the park.

Your day will begin with breakfast at 7:30am before your road transfer to Lake Elementeita. Upon your arrival at the Lake Elementeita Serena Camp for your stay, a delicious lunch and an afternoon of leisure. At 16:00 you will be taken for a drive in the conservancy and around the lake, before returning to camp.

An exciting day of observing some of nature’s wonders in the Amboseli National Park, where your day will be kicked off with an early morning game drive. Upon your return to the lodge, you’ll enjoy a late breakfast and enjoy a morning of rest. In the afternoon, you’ll head back into the park for an evening game drive.

For the next few days (days 10 – 13) you’ll be enjoying a riveting experience with morning and afternoon game drive viewings with your guide driver. The Maasai Mara is a location on the top of many bucket lists as it is home to “The Great Migration”, one of the world’s natural wonders.

Your day will be kicked off with breakfast before departing for Lake Nakuru National Park at 7:30 am and taken through park formalities, before kicking off the game viewing drive. After your game, you’ll enjoy lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge before being transferred back to Nairobi. Upon your arrival in Nairobi, you will be staying at the Eka Hotel for the night before your outbound flight , the next day.
